Football XFunction introduction

NomNomNom! is a game about two things, really: eating food, and pug farts.

The two combine together in this free, endless eat 'em up. Your mission is to guide a pug from starvation by helping it eat a stream of food heading towards its doggy chops.

You do that by instructing the pug to open its mouth with a tap on the touchscreen. But it's not that easy as you also need to look out the sharp metal objects mixed in with the food.

The pug's mouth needs to be closed so that these hazardous materials bounce off its lips. That's pretty much the extent of the game's challenge.

It will get harder when the speed and frequency at which the food arrives is increased, mind.
The Lion and the Eagle
"I believe you half starve yourself most of the time down at that light," said Mrs. Doctor Dave severely. "You won't take the trouble to get up a decent meal."

James Turner, an employee at Game Freak, gave us a sneak peek at a new manga highlighting Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri and the early beginnings of the company. Turner shared a page from the book that showcases the original 151’s early designs, along with a few unfamiliar faces.
From the Satoshi Tajiri manga... Early designs of Pokémon, including ones that didn’t make the cut. Interesting, huh? pic.twitter.com/3Xkyzp9NIY— James Turner (@JamesTurner_42) May 16, 2018 The image shows Pokemon like Lickitung and Diglett, along with monsters that never made their debut. Traces of these Pokemon—simply named Deer, Shark, Cactus, and Kurokki (or Crocky)—still remain in Red, Blue, and Green as MissingNo., a place holder of sorts for these Pokemon that never made it into the final games. It’s a rare glimpse into the early days of Pokemon, as actual design details surrounding the making of early Pokemon games are actually quite rare. What do you think of these newly unearthed designs?Source: Resetera

Worry no more Android fans – Fortnite, arguably the biggest game in the world right now, is hitting your platform sometime this summer.

There's not much more information than that right now, sadly, but Epic did outline a number of other changes coming to the game in its recent State of Mobile blog post.

Be sure to check out our ultimate guide to Fortnite to help you grab those Victory Royale's no matter where you are.Chief among them is the ability to customise your HUD, allowing you to put your various buttons and joysticks wherever you like on screen if the default setup isn't working for you.

"Miss Cornelia evidently can't find much fault with Mr. Ford's looks, or she would find it in spite of the receivers," said Anne. "I conclude therefore, Susan, that Mr. Ford is rather handsome than otherwise.""So you've been over to see Leslie," he said, when he rejoined her.

Gosh, it's a bit quiet on mobile this week, eh? Beyond quiet contemplative narrative-'em-up The Stillness of the Wind and Clash Royale-esque strategy game Revolve8, there's not a whole lot to talk about.

Indeed, it's that time of the week where we look at what's coming out on iOS and Android, sifting through the masses of games to find the true gems that need your attention - or your downloads, at least.

We'll cover as much as we can, but this is by no means a comprehensive list. Instead, we want to pick out games we know you'll love, or at least the ones that are big and important, alongside a few of the smaller games you may not have seen yet.

And we'll try to hit as many genres as we can, so there should be something here for everyone. But don't get mad if there's nothing you like! We are at the whims of the platform holders and developers just like you.

So, grab yourself a cuppa, get your mobile gaming device, and let's dig in and see what new games you can get for yourself this week. You never know, your next favourite game of all time may be hiding in amongst our list. And be sure to comment if you find someone which you do decide to pick up - we'd love to hear what's taken your fancy this week. The Stillness of the Wind

Available on: iOSPrice: $4.99/£4.99

App Store Description: "One by one, everyone left the once bustling village for the city. Everyone, except Talma. Now approaching the end of her days, she maintains a simple, solitary way of life, surviving, subsisting, tending to her homestead and her goats.

Develop your own personal routine as you care for your farm and your animals. Tend to your goats, make cheese with their milk, collect eggs and cook meals, grow vegetables and barter with the travelling merchant who brings increasingly disturbing letters from your family in the city.

A follow up to the critically acclaimed Where the Goats Are, The Stillness of the Wind is a quiet rumination on life and loss."
"She told me you were the best friend she had," said Anne.

Oopstacles is an odd-looking endless runner which combines elements of Super Mario with the popular TV show Wipeout.

Okay, bear with me a little here I swear I haven't gone crazy. Oopstacles may not look particularly impressive just yet, but it is still in its alpha testing stage. There's still plenty of room for improvement - my point is that it looks fun and it's very, very charming.

This adorable endless runner lets you run a Wipeout-like obstacle course, collecting coins and building up a high-score. The hilarious thing is that despite its chibi demeanor, the actual 'wipe-outs' are pretty brutal minus blood and gore, especially the ball one. Plus, the addition of ragdoll physics is just a cherry on top to watch them flop between failed obstacles.

As it is still very early there's no release date as of yet, but it will be coming to iOS and Android. If you'd like to give Crystal Pug a hand, sign up to their testers form here.

The game sets the ultimate realistic visuals for users, provides unique lighting elements, and replaces traditional equipment with a cards system. You will select cards for choosing your five best players suitable according to their exceptional work. You will also collect cards in the process of gameplay, which can be used to upgrade the power and strength of characters and allocate further changes that will tilt the game in your direction.
